Steadicam Workshop Toronto

The Tiffen Company and Kingsway Motion Picture Inc. are hosting a three-day Steadicam_® Workshop in Toronto SEPTEMBER 9TH – 11TH, 2016. This course is designed to give participants instruction in all the basic Steadicam techniques, and to provide practical hands-on training with the full range of Steadicam systems including the new M-1 and Exovest.

Lead instructor Paul Taylor is a veteran Los Angeles based Steadicam operator, and has been teaching for 20 years. His workshops provide the practical knowledge and experience needed to get you up to speed on the mid to full-sized Steadicam rigs. It is a practical “hands-on” course where you learn the basic Steadicam techniques.

You will be instructed by experienced Steadicam Operators, and with your new knowledge, will be asked to perform shots and tasks with the Steadicam and related accessories.

At the end of this Workshop, you will receive from The Tiffen Company a “Certificate of Completion” which confirms that you attended the course.

There will be a maximum of 9 students, and tuition for the three days is US$975 plus taxes. Lunch each day is provided.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This Steadicam Workshop is the key to becoming a successful Steadicam Operator. It is also an excellent opportunity for the Cinematographer or Videographer to become familiar with the operation and applications of the Steadicam.

This 3-day workshop is the perfect environment for individuals who are experienced in camera operation to cross over into the world of Steadicam.
